A small-town Colorado kid at heart, Roger was raised on the Western Slope spending his days at his grandfather’s truck stop. After moving east and completing grade school in Maryland, Roger attended college in Ohio where he played football and was an athlete on the Track and Field team. Considering he was in a Broncos onesie days after birth, Roger didn’t have much of a choice in becoming a huge Colorado sports fan. His favorite sports memories include watching the Broncos and Avs each win championships, while he was in attendance when the Nuggets won their first NBA Championship! Roger’s love of sports led him to pursue a career in sports broadcasting, where he spent nearly 15 years in Denver as a manager, producer, host, writer and play-by-play broadcaster at multiple radio stations. Roger made a format-switch to country in 2024, allowing him to spend more time with his family. His wife is a Kindergarten teacher while his eight year old daughter is likely chasing around their husky mix as you read this. Roger (real name Raj) is of Indian heritage, and has visited family in the country three times. His voice and demeanor have been described as warm and friendly, with a genuine energy.
