I was raised in the very small town of Wahoo, Nebraska, with just over 3,000 people and one stop light. However, we knew we were finally on the global map when Burger King moved to town. As a kid I loved making audio tapes with my tape recorder and listening to the radio just about every day. Eventually I was able to turn my passions into a career and that’s how I ended up in radio. Colorado Springs has been my home since 2003, and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. One glance to the west and I get see Pikes Peak along with the entire Front Range. It’s breathtaking – literally. The elevation is so high and the air is so thin, it can be hard to breath! My wife is a nurse at Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs, and has been serving in the Colorado National Guard for over 25 years. I never start fights because she could take me apart and put me back together. During my free time, I love playing pickleball, going for hikes, cooking, reading, or just chilling with my favorite video game, Cities Skylines. In fact, I used to work for Paradox, the company that makes the game, creating tutorial videos as a side hustle. It was very cool moment in my life. But most importantly, I get to open a mic just about every day and entertain radio lovers. It’s a true honor.
